Ferrari has revealed a new name for Roma with the release of its latest: the Amalfi. The Ferrari Amalfi shall debut with a sleek new 2+ coupé that replaces the Roma and redefines the Grand Tourer formula with a sharper focus on drivability, design and performance. The Ferrari Amalfi has a 640 hp twin-turbo V8, from F154 engine family. This offers a 0–62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph.

Previous revamps by Ferrari
Ferrari is known for revamps. Ferrari FF became the Lusso after five years, the 488 morphed into the nearly mechanically identical F8 after just four years. Now the latest Amalfi, the newest Ferrari and successor to the wonderful Roma.
Ferrari Amalfi feature review
The new Ferrari Amalfi features a front-mid engine layout, 50/50 weight distribution and a revised eight-speed dual-clutch transmission for smooth, responsive driving. Ferrari’s latest aerodynamic systems ensure stability across high-speed conditions and varying road surfaces.
Ferrari Amalfi’s exterior review
Ferrari Amalfi exterior has a vibrant Verde Costiera, echoes classic Ferrari proportions with modern minimalism. The Amalfi’s aerodynamics have improved over the Roma’s, too. The Flavio Manzoni-led design team took cues from the Roma’s graceful proportions while preserving the soul of the 2+ sports car. Up front, a body-coloured floating wing replaces the traditional grille, flanked by sleek, integrated sensors and headlamps. A pronounced lower splitter adds visual width.

There is an opening above the headlights which makes the grille area smaller. The twin openings not only reduce drag but also help cool the V-8. The new rear spoiler has three positions (down, mid, and high) and when fully deployed creates 242 pounds of downforce at 155 mph.
Ferrari Amalfi speed
The top speed is same as Roma, the Amalfi’s top speed should be right around 200 mph. Zero to 62 mph happens in a claimed 3.3 seconds, while 0–124 mph is said to take 9.0 flat. As with the Roma, which offered two body styles, we expect a convertible version of the Amalfi to be introduced shortly.
Ferrari Amalfi interior

Inside, a dual-cockpit layout surrounds driver and passenger with integrated digital displays, haptic controls and optional Burmester audio, offering both a high-performance and high-comfort experience.
Key technologies include brake-by-wire, ABS Evo, Side Slip Control 6.1 and ADAS systems like adaptive cruise control and lane keeping. Optional comfort seats feature massage and ventilation, while Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard. The Ferrari Amalfi arrives with Ferrari’s 7-year maintenance program.
Ferrari Amalfi’s engine
The engine has improved, powered by the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 rises from 611 to 631 horsepower, while torque remains the same at 561 lb-ft and redline rises by 100 rpm to 7,600 rpm. Peak power is achieved at the old redline, 7,500 rpm, whereas peak torque occurs between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm.
