It is impossible to ignore the potential of the EV industry and every automaker is in an active race to bring its own offerings to the market. General Motors has revealed that Cadillac is all set to launch the Vistiq, which is a $78,790 three-row SUV. This isn’t GM’s first foray into electric vehicles but will add to its higher-end line-up of vehicles.
GM’s 2026 Cadillac Vistiq will make its debut early next year and the company has lovingly dubbed it the “baby Escalade.” With a 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack along with 615 horsepower, 650 pound-feet of torque, and 300 miles of range on offer, GM’s new electric SUV could be a good contender for those looking for a powerful EV.

Cadillac’s Vistiq EV Offering Will Launch in 2025
Cadillac’s three-row EV showcases a standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and a Road Noise Cancellation system that should guarantee a smooth and peaceful drive. The car is “engineered to provide spaciousness for passengers in all three rows and offers technology that will elevate the luxury experience.”
The vehicle features the Standard Super Cruise, which Cadillac claims is the industry’s first truly hands-free driver assistance technology. This form of driver support has been much sought after recently and should be a popular detail among prospective customers.
Continuing the traditions established by its predecessors, the newly launched 2026 Cadillac Vistiq showcases the Escalade IQ’s swept-back windshield and Black Crystal Shield grille said to be unique to Cadillac’s electric portfolio.
The spacious vehicle is packed with tools like blind zone steering assistance, night vision support, and intelligent five-zone climate controls. Its 33-inch diagonal high-resolution LED screen is stylistically advanced and both the interior and exterior design elements are decidedly classy.
The Cadillac is also set to feature a bidirectional charging system that could help eligible homes rely on vehicle-to-home changing in case of a blackout. This feature is unlikely to get too much use out of it but it does offer users a solution during difficult situations.

Understanding Vistiq’s Price and Availability
The Cadillac Vistiq’s launch has been confirmed for early 2025 and it will be sold globally, including in the U.S. and Canada. The production will begin at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee, which is where the smaller Lyriq is already in production.
The Vistiq’s price has been set at $78,790, making it an obvious addition to the luxury SUV category. The price puts it comfortably between the $63,500 Lyriq and the Escalade IQ EV expected to release in late 2024. GM’s Cadillac Vistiq debut will allow the company to ensure that it has an elaborate range of EVs at varying price points to guarantee something for every potential customer.
“Cadillac continues to set the standard for American luxury. The introduction of VISTIQ will continue to propel us into the EV future,” John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, explained. “With the addition of VISTIQ, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV entry in every luxury SUV segment.”
Cadillac’s three-row EV will offer three distinctive trims, Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury. Platinum trim with additional performance elements and more colorways both for the interior and exterior will be available in Summer 2025.
The Cadillac brand had previously committed to shifting to only EV options by 2030, but it has since backtracked to suggest that it will shift its product line according to customer demand. With luxury brand Ferrari also making its move to EV, the journey towards electric seems the only way forward for most automakers.
