The boldly styled 2026 Hyundai Palisade is making its debut in U.S. at the New York auto show. Hyundai Palisade is launching the new model V-6 as well as an optional hybrid powertrain. While they showed the redesigned computer-generated form of the three-row family SUV, Hyundai displayed the first look of the real thing at the 2025 New York Auto Show.

Hyundai also confirmed hybrid version that was available oversees, coming to the USA. The new Palisade Hybrid is based on a turbocharged four-cylinder and will offer more power (not to mention more range) than the V6. All of this comes in a bigger, more capable package.
New Hyundai Palisade features
Hyundai displayed its 2026 Palisade which features it’s first-ever hybrid powertrain. The 2026 Palisade marks the start of a new generation for the three-row SUV. Hyundai is releasing a standard gas 2026 Palisade powertrain alongside the new hybrid powertrain, which features a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine producing an estimated 619 miles of range, 329 horsepower, and 339 lb-ft of torque when combined with two electric motors and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The standard engine is the gas-powered 3.5-liter six, and it makes 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic is standard, but there is an option to choose from front- or all-wheel drive.
The Palisade hybrid option and the electrified powertrain is a fresh one that consists of a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a pair of electric motors that combine for 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque.
2026 Palisade redesign and new look
The 2026 Palisade’s overall proportions are larger, except for the shorter front overhang that was reduced by 1.6 inches. The length has grown 2.5 inches, and the wheelbase has increased 2.7 inches. The panoramic side glass is also bigger. Hyundai reports that its 2026 Palisade achieved one of its segment’s lowest drag coefficients of 0.31. This Hyundai SUV’s front-end design has vertical LED daytime running lights and the lower fascia’s active airflow shutters. Inside, the dual 12.3” displays are now curved, and for the first time in any Hyundai, the 2026 Palisade has a built-in, two-camera dash cam that can continuously record during driving and automatically record nearby movement while parked.

Hyundai’s relaunch of XRT Pro trim
Building off the successful XRT model from the previous generation, Hyundai is relaunching that trim as the XRT Pro this year. The company says the XRT Pro features both hardware and software updates to make it more capable off-road. A raised suspension gives the XRT Pro an inch of extra ground clearance compared with the regular Palisade. An electronic limited-slip differential for the rear axle is standard.
Hyundai Palisade 2026 interior
Inside the Hyundai Palisade new model, extra space is created by the stretched wheelbase. The interior design is as fresh as the exterior. The upright dashboard is highlighted by a flowing metal trim. Also, there is a large digital display showing both gauges and infotainment. The dual 12.3-inch screens feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with native navigation for linking phones.
